High specific power nozzle heaters PIROFLEX Masterwatt is a family of nozzle heaters that was conceived to combine the advantages of the sealed design of PIROFLEX heaters with the high specific power of leaky PIROSLIM heaters (5 W/cm2). Their special design makes them resistant to the penetration of plastic, which ensures good performance, even if the plastic flows out of the nozzle.
PIROSLIM Masterwatt nozzle heaters are an ideal solution when there is only a limited gap between the nozzle and the mold (for example, in hot chamber molds) and, therefore, PIROSLIM heaters cannot be used due to their thickness. In addition, they are characterized by a high specific power (5 W / cm2) and, therefore, are best suited for those cases when it is necessary to increase the need for heat in the injection zone.
